Hi Valerie, A bit belated, but Merry Christmas to you too! Joy to the world indeed!! Have a wonderful holiday with your family and all the best in the new year.
Valerie... from one creative Sister to another...this is BEAUTIFUL! And your other colored pencil drawings are wonderful... you are very talented and I love you credit the Lord! My mother says I inherited my artistic talent from her... I like to think I inherited it from my Father who is the Author of all creativity!
May God's richest blessings be yours this coming new year... Your Sister in Christ...
My journey to being an artist began as a young teenager. It has evolved into a passion over the years. I love the creative process of art from the point of inspiration to the completed piece of work. I enjoy the rhythm of each pencil stroke as colors combine on the drawing surface.
Teaching others what I know about art and drawing is my greatest learning tool.
One of my favorite quotes by Paul Gardner is ~ "A painting is never finished – it simply stops in interesting places."
Hop on board and join me on my artistic journey through life.

Very nice piece (no pun intended)- those notes must have taken forever to draw! I think this would make a lovely Christmas card.
Thanks Jo, Teresa, & Holly. This piece turned out to be the Christmas card I sent to many friends and family this year.
