At some point, when Jerry's Artarama had an online sale, I bought all colors of fluid and airbrush acrylics (and I don't have an airbrush- they are useful in squeeze bottles and with brushes).

Some days I have a lot of trouble with a shaky brush hand- other days, not so much. Sometimes it is coffee, other times, too many carbohydrates, who knows? I just keep working, eat some protein and get through the shakes.

Please post your finished paintings, too. I wanna see 'em.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6717383793266490506.post-42570449884416654002010-05-05T22:13:25.379-05:002010-05-05T22:13:25.379-05:00Thank you, Kasie! It will be interesting to see the difference the canvas makes.Valerie Joneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17636202309363978079noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6717383793266490506.post-65625479391888339962010-05-05T21:51:09.099-05:002010-05-05T21:51:09.099-05:00How fun that your work is going to be in the show!...How fun that your work is going to be in the show!
I think you will love the Golden Fluid Acrylics. I do. They allow me to layer in a way similar to colored pencils. (As long as I'm working on Fredrix watercolor canvas.) Like your drawing board post on Monday I've found that finding the right painting canvas is just as important. I struggled so much with paint until I came across that canvas.
Your Gerber daisy is coming off to a great start! I can tell that it's going to be a bright and cheerful piece!Kasie @ ~The Art of Life~https://www.blogger.com/profile/00208759575130154708noreply@blogger.com
